Maintenance TechnicianTwinsburg, Ohio DIRECT HIRE POSITION Pay Rate: up to $38.00 per hour (based on candidate experience and interview) Shift Hours: 2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm 3rd Shift: 11:00pm - 7:00amGeneral Description of the Maintenance Technician:Perform a wide variety of mechanical and electrical maintenance work of a skilled and complex nature. Installs, repairs, and maintains manufacturing equipment and plant facilities necessary for satisfactory operation of equipment and processes. This position is moderately physical.Principal Duties and Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:Diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic and combustion malfunctions and operating difficultiesDetermines repair procedures and implements those repairs that will be effective in preventing reoccurrenceCan navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for the purpose of troubleshooting equipment faultsCan modify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots. Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700Installs, moves, and aligns new and existing equipmentSets up and operates various types of machine shop equipment with a moderate degree of accuracy and efficiencyPerforms both gas and electric welding operationsCompletes related machine repair records, performs associated handling duties, and maintains work area in a neat and orderly conditionPerforms all necessary preventative and proactive tasks on plant equipmentPerforms other related duties as assigned by supervision and/or designated team leaderCan navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for the purpose of troubleshooting equipment faultsCan modify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots. Determines repair procedures and implements those repairs that will be effective in preventing reoccurrenceRequirements of the Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift):High School diploma or GEDMonths of experience specific to this position (explain) 48 months of related experience in Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, and Welding. A Maintenance Technician "A" level must be proficient at troubleshooting die casting machine cells through the use of PLCs and electrical and hydraulic schematics.Must be able to apply principles acquired through technical or vocational subjects (certificates or some college courses)A successful candidate will be subject to a background check and must receive satisfactory results of the same, as a condition of joining the team.
