CNC Programmer
Oxford Solutions is working with a manufacturing client seeking a CNC Programmer for a direct hire onsite opportunity.
In this role, you will create CNC programs using Mastercam software and support machining operations across multi-axis mills and lathes. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on CNC programming experience, and the ability to work closely with machinists, production staff, and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Create CNC programs using Mastercam software
- Program CNC machining operations, including milling and turning on multi-axis mills and lathes
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical designs to create accurate machining programs
- Troubleshoot CNC programs, machining issues, and equipment-related concerns
- Maintain organized records of CNC programs and machining operations
- Review machining processes and recommend improvements to increase productivity and efficiency
- Work closely with team members to support quality, accuracy, and production goals
- Communicate clearly with machinists, supervisors, and other technical staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role
- Strong experience using Mastercam software
- Experience programming CNC mills and lathes
- Knowledge of multi-axis machining preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining processes
- Ability to troubleshoot CNC programs and machining operations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
