We provide customers a broad array of stock and customized solutions with 120 product categories, 250 brands and over 39,000 SKUs.Maintenance Specialist | Columbus | Hiring ImmediatelyCompensation:Starting pay rate of $29.45-$36.50Shift differential - 2nd shift $1.25, 3rd shift $1.00Eligible for annual & skill-based wage increasesEligible for monthly bonus based upon plant productivity*Available Shift:11:50pm-8am (Monday-Friday)Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The primary job function consists of the maintenance and repair of all mechanical, electrical and electronic components of the plant equipment and facilities.This will include installation, set up, maintenance and repair of all equipment related to plant operation, services and facilities.Other duties include diagnosis, repair, and/or replace electrical components as necessary.Assist in upgrades of process control equipment as new technology develops.Maintain an understanding of the latest state of the art control systems.Will assist the shift Operators by performing repairs on mechanical systems when needed.Qualifications:Good understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting.Analytical, problem solving, and strong technical skills including electrical and PLC programming.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with all levels in the organization.HS Diploma or equivalent; preferred associates degree3+ years technician experience within plastics industryMechanical aptitudeDemonstrated problem-solving skillsEffective communications skills, both written and verbal.With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
