Network Engineer, Sr / Secret / Onsite: TX or GA

Description: The role supports Classified Network Operations for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, TX or Marietta, GA. Responsibilities include maintenance, troubleshooting, and daily operations of classified network infrastructure for all lines of business, including ADP, IFG and the Joint Strike Fighter Program (JSF). The candidate will administer and maintain network infrastructure across multiple platforms, supporting day‑to‑day maintenance of hardware appliances such as Cisco switches, Palo Alto and Juniper firewalls, Type 1 encryption devices, and collaboration components. The role also involves networking tools such as Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA Center, and Cisco Call Manager, and planned infrastructure upgrades, installation, and cabling of network equipment. Basic Qualifications: Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance Minimum 5 years’ experience with TACLANEs (e.g., KG175/KG250) Experience with configuration and management of Cisco switches and CUCM Experience with Cisco Call Manager and Jabber Experience with configuration and management of Juniper or Palo Alto firewalls 5+ years’ experience supporting and resolving network‑related issues Confident in OSI model, IP addressing, and subnetting Current CompTIA Security+ or other DoD 8570.01 certification (or ability to obtain) Effective communication skills with other Classified Network Operations team members Ability to build customer‑focused support relationships with stakeholders US Citizenship Physical ability to lift 30 pounds Desired Skills: Active Top Secret Clearance General knowledge of DISA STIGs and hardening methods Experience with multi‑site architecture support Palo Alto PNCSA or Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS certification Familiarity with software‑defined networking (Cisco ACI, Cisco DNA Center, etc.) Experience configuring and troubleshooting LAN and WAN connections Ability to create and update network diagrams using Microsoft Visio Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; the candidate must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Top Secret Work Schedules: 4x10 schedule, rotating on‑call support, with occasional travel. The role is full‑time on‑site at either Fort Worth, TX or Marietta, GA.
