Manager, Laboratory Systems & Data

Johnson & Johnson seeks an experienced manager to lead laboratory systems and scientific data platforms strategy across global R&D operations. The role involves overseeing electronic laboratory notebooks, laboratory information management systems, and related digital capabilities while partnering with R&D teams, IT, Quality, and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, multi-year roadmaps, and governance models for laboratory systems and scientific data platforms
• Serve as business owner for assigned laboratory applications including ELN, LIMS, and compliance tools
• Own demand intake, prioritization, and translation of user needs into product backlogs and requirements
• Develop scientific data storage strategy and establish governance for laboratory master data practices
• Manage product budgets, vendor relationships, deployment timelines, and track adoption and value metrics

Requirements

• Product and applications leadership experience with laboratory or scientific systems
• Demonstrated expertise in laboratory information management systems (LIMS) or electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN)
• Experience translating laboratory needs into product roadmaps and requirements
• Track record managing cross-functional partnerships across IT, Quality, and business teams
• Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and information security in regulated environments
• Budget and vendor management experience
