Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Location: Petersburg, WV

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 2056.48 - 2159.30

Schedule: 12 hours: 5:45-6:15 (Night shift only one RT or low census may only be one)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: Certs: BLS, ACLS, and PCOT required. Must have 2 years experience in specialty, ventilatory skills, able to work independently, and okay with first-time travelers. Peds experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Manage ventilator treatments including ventilator management, ABG draws, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Nebs, MDIs, Flutter/Airway Clearance in inpatient settings.
• Set up nocturnal pulse oximetry and blood gases for outpatient care.
• Assist with intubation as needed.
• Provide coverage for inpatient, outpatient, and ED settings, with future plans for Sleep Lab and cross-training to Pulmonary/Cardiac Rehab.
