Mohawk is looking for a Process Engineer to provide support and assistance to the manufacturing operations in design and production. As a Process Engineer, you will help us meet and control quality and cost efficiency standards. What you’ll do Work closely with manufacturing management to identify business needs and determine courses of action Develop, assess, and implement techniques used in production to maximize operations Lead or assist on complex projects within manufacturing operations, including providing updates and reporting on projects Work closely with production staff to assist in corrections of products Identify, define, and measure improvement opportunities for projects Manage daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and reporting on systems output What you have Bachelor’s degree in Process or Industrial Engineering (Master’s degree preferred) 2-4 years of experience (as a Process Engineer preferred) Knowledge or experience in Six Sigma and Lean (preferred) What you’re good at Communicating effectively with a wide range of individuals in written, oral and interpersonal form Achieving results through team efforts, challenging established practices and drawing relevant conclusions Designing, developing, and driving optimization and results through reporting and analytics Staying organized and paying attention to detail in a fast-paced environment What else?
