Job Responsibilities Plumbing System Installation & Repairs – Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures, including toilet replacements, faucet replacements, water heater replacements, soldering, and common plumbing repairs System Inspections & Testing – Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, water quality, and code compliance in residential settings Troubleshooting & Diagnostics – Identify issues, troubleshoot system malfunctions, and provide effective solutions to customers Customer Interaction – Communicate with customers to inform them of issues, recommended solutions, and service outcomes Code Compliance – Ensure all installations and repairs comply with national, state, and local plumbing codes Cost Estimates & Service Calls – Respond to customer inquiries, handle service call-outs, and prepare cost estimates for plumbing services Record Keeping – Utilize Service Titan software to document repairs, maintenance, and service calls accurately Safety Compliance – Follow industry safety standards to ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently Customer Service – Deliver exceptional service with a professional and customer-focused approach Qualifications Experience – 3+ years of experience as a plumbing installer or a similar role Certifications – Plumbing certification or equivalent experience from a technical/trade school is preferred Technical Expertise – Strong knowledge of plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance, including water heaters, toilets, faucets, and common fixtures Service Software – Experience with Service Titan or similar trade software is a plus Communication Skills – Strong communication and listening skills to interact with customers and team members effectively Attention to Detail – Ability to perform accurate work while adhering to all plumbing codes and regulations Customer-Focused – A commitment to delivering high‑quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction Driver’s License – Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Benefits Medical, Prescription, Dental, and Vision Insurance – Comprehensive coverage with minimal out‑of‑pocket expenses Disability & Term Life Insurance – Financial security for you and your loved ones Matching 401(K) Benefits – Competitive retirement savings plan to help secure your future Ongoing Training & Development – Opportunities for continuous growth and skill enhancement Paid Holidays & PTO – Paid time off for holidays and generous paid time off for work‑life balance Total Mechanical Systems may conduct a pre‑employment background check and drug test, subject to applicable laws.
