Prepare patients for procedures. ​ Provide education to the patient and family members. ​ Insert and remove intravenous lines. ​ Administer medication including moderate sedation. ​ Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures. ​ Oversee the safety and comfort of patient before, during, and after procedures. ​ Provide post-procedure monitoring.
