Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 or 48 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting during night shift hours
• Adhere to scheduling requirements including 3 weekends per six-week schedule and 2 out of 3 winter holidays
• Float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics units based on staffing needs and within scope of practice
• Maintain BLS and PALS certifications throughout the duration of the assignment
• Utilize Epic electronic health records system for documentation and patient management

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Epic experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals are not accepted for this unit)
• Candidates who have previously reached 365 total assignment days at this facility are not eligible to return

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric cardiac experience
• BSN preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a pediatric intensive care setting
