Rocket Air is seeking a creative, organized, and enthusiastic entry-level Content Creator & Social Media Assistant to support content development, social media, and marketing initiatives across its aviation brands.

This role is responsible for helping bring the Rocket Air brand to life through compelling photo, video, graphic, and written content for use across social media, websites, email marketing, advertising, recruiting, events, sales initiatives, internal communications, and other marketing channels.

The Content Creator & Social Media Assistant will work closely with teams throughout the organization to proactively identify stories, capture day-to-day activity, develop engaging content, and maintain a consistent and professional brand presence. This position is ideal for someone who is highly creative, enjoys being hands-on and on location, and is comfortable working in fast-paced aviation environments while managing multiple projects and priorities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create engaging photo, video, graphic, and written content for use across social media, websites, email campaigns, advertising, recruiting, promotional materials, events, sales initiatives, internal communications, and other marketing channels.
• Proactively identify and capture content opportunities throughout Rocket Air's operations, including aircraft, flight operations, maintenance and avionics projects, products, employees, students, customers, events, facilities, milestones, behind-the-scenes activities, and other stories that showcase the company and its brands.
• Plan, capture, and edit short- and long-form video content including Reels, TikToks, Stories, YouTube videos, employee features, customer and student experiences, testimonials, educational content, promotional videos, and company storytelling.
• Support Rocket Air's social media presence by maintaining content calendars, scheduling and publishing content, writing captions and digital copy, optimizing content for individual platforms, and maintaining consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual standards. 
• Monitor social media engagement, comments, messages, audience growth, trends, and emerging content opportunities; respond to or route inquiries as appropriate.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and departments throughout the organization to understand marketing priorities, identify content needs, coordinate content collection, and develop creative assets supporting campaigns, promotions, recruiting, events, announcements, product launches, and other company initiatives.
• Support marketing campaigns by producing the creative assets needed for digital and traditional marketing channels, including photography, video, graphics, website content, email content, promotional materials, and other marketing collateral.
• Coordinate on-site content days, photo and video shoots, interviews, events, and other content-producing activities, including preparing equipment, shot lists, participants, locations, and necessary materials.
• Edit photo and video content while maintaining established brand and quality standards.
• Maintain an organized and searchable digital content library, including photos, videos, graphics, raw footage, completed creative assets, and other marketing materials for future use.
• Monitor content and social media performance by tracking engagement, reach, audience growth, video performance, and other relevant metrics. Assist with performance reporting and use results to improve future content.
• Stay current on social media trends, emerging platforms, video formats, creative techniques, and content best practices, and proactively recommend ideas and opportunities appropriate for the Rocket Air brands.
• Support special marketing projects, company events, campaigns, recruiting efforts, promotional activities, and other creative needs as assigned.
• Perform other duties and projects that support Rocket Air's marketing and brand initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• 1+ year of experience in social media, content creation, photography, videography, marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Aviation, travel, luxury services, or education experience is a plus but not required.
• Interest in aviation and the ability to learn aviation terminology and company operations.
• Experience creating and editing short-form social media video content.
• Strong writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Ability to work collaboratively with employees, customers, students, leadership, and other stakeholders.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely navigate varied work environments, including office, airport, hangar, and outdoor areas, when required by business needs.
• Possible exposure to varying weather conditions, aircraft noise, and uneven walking surfaces
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events and promotional activities and to safely move throughout operational areas while following applicable safety requirements. 
• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods. 
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through digital communication platforms. 
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, and move materials, equipment, marketing displays, or supplies weighing up to 25 pounds. 
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and maneuver as necessary to set up or retrieve marketing materials and equipment. 
• Ability to work at events, trade shows, promotional activities, and other off-site functions, which may require extended periods of standing and walking. 
• Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, or extended hours for marketing events or special projects, as required.
