Outside Sales Representative

Overview Roto-Rooter is a national plumbing services provider seeking Outside Sales Representatives for our Excavation and Water Restoration departments. The role focuses on selling solutions to existing customers, using leads provided by field technicians and call centers. Successful candidates will deliver competitive quotes, close sales, and maintain strong customer relationships. Signing Bonus Provide a signing bonus of $2,000 paid in three installments: first after training, second after 6 months of service, and third after one year of service. Compensation $55,000‑$75,000 average annual salary plus mileage reimbursement. No cold calling – all leads are supplied. Flexible work schedules. Top industry benefits. Responsibilities Engage in proactive follow‑up communication with existing customers to deliver solutions for plumbing or water‑related issues. Provide competitive quotes using our pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines, and effectively close sales. Serve as a trusted information resource for customers. For Excavation Sales: Identify and sell opportunities to repair or replace sewer lines for residential and commercial customers, and conduct camera assessments to determine root or breakage. For Water Restoration Sales: Identify and sell opportunities to mitigate property damage caused by water, and assess moisture levels to determine need for demolition and drying. Requirements Valid driver’s license. Exceptional focus on delivering outstanding customer service. Thrives in a fast‑paced work environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Plumbing experience not required. Organized self‑starter with an outgoing personality. Working knowledge of common software programs.
