Bay Area Propane is a locally owned and operated fuel delivery company proudly serving commercial, residential, and agricultural customers throughout the East Bay. We are seeking an experienced, safety-focused Propane Fuel Delivery Driver to join our Oakland team.

Compensation & Benefits:

Schedule:

• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• 4:00 AM start time
• Typical workday: 10–12 hours
• Home daily
• Occasional nights and weekends as business needs require

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer transporting propane throughout the East Bay
• Load, transport, and unload propane while following all DOT and company safety procedures
• Complete deliveries to commercial, residential, and agricultural customers
• Perform daily DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
• Communicate with dispatch regarding route status, delays, and customer needs
• Keep equipment clean and well-maintained
• Comply with all DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, and company safety regulations
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Bay Area Propane professionally

Qualifications:

• Class A CDL required
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
• Previous propane or diesel fuel delivery experience required
• Hazmat endorsement required
• Tanker endorsement required
• Doubles/Triples endorsement required
• Valid TWIC Card required
• Current DOT Medical Certificate
• Clean driving record meeting company MVR standards
• Ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug screening
• Ability to lift 70 pounds regularly
• Ability to safely load and unload propane tankers
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
