Job Overview FTE: 1; Scheduled bi‑weekly hours: 80; Work shift: Evening – 8 hours per shift. Position: Computed Tomography (CT) Technician at the Los Gatos campus, a designated Primary Stroke Center. Responsibilities Collaborate with healthcare team members to promote optimum imaging procedures. Provide imaging services in accordance with Title17 (Radiologic Health Branch) and Title22 (Department of Health Services) for the State of California. Apply principles of assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and modifying patient imaging care as an active, continuous process. Adhere to meal‑period policy: the 30‑minute meal period at the Los Gatos campus is considered an “on‑duty” meal period and the employee cannot be relieved of all duty during this time. Qualifications One (1) year experience in CT preferred. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (ARRT®). Upon hire or within four months, registered in Computed Tomography (ARRT‑CT). Current California CRT Certificate. Current California Fluoroscopy Certificate. Ability to perform diagnostic X‑ray as needed by the department. Basic Life‑Saving Certification (BLS – American Heart Association). California certification in Venipuncture. Physical Requirements Requires standing for the majority of the shift and lifting up to 35lbs frequently. Work involves sitting, kneeling, climbing, and squatting.
