For more information, visit About the Position Teads is searching for a Staff Tax Accountant to join the Tax Team. The Staff Tax Accountant will be exposed to US (federal & state) corporate income tax compliance, quarterly and year-end financial reporting, and some indirect tax compliance. This role will also offer a unique opportunity to be exposed to post-merger integration and tax planning opportunities. The Staff Tax Accountant will report directly to the Tax Manager and will be immersed in diverse tax matters. What We're Looking For... Behavioral Skills Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks Ability to understand and communicate technical issues and translate them to their supervisor Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively and constructively in a team environment Proactive attitude to collaborate on processes improvements, innovation, and technical skills through automation initiatives Technical Skills Self-starter attitude towards learning and staying current in tax developments Ability to efficiently gather and analyze data for the Federal and State corporate income tax return filings and respond to taxing authority inquiries Strong foundational knowledge of core accounting principles, including debits, credits, and general ledger journal entries. Exposure to tax accounting concepts, including book-to-tax adjustments and calculating deferred tax assets and liabilities Proficient with Microsoft Suite to help write tax memos in Word, create, update, and/or improve tax workpapers in Excel, and occasionally prepare presentations in PowerPoint We’re looking for someone with... Bachelor’s degree in accounting or tax is required, CPA is preferred 1-2 year(s) of tax compliance/accounting experience Public accounting and corporate tax experience is a plus What will make you stand out: Experience with NetSuite ERP system Experience with OneSource tax provision software Exposure to embedding AI tools (Gemini, Claude, GPT) in daily work Exposure to tax provisions for financial reporting Exposure to digital media & digital advertising The pay range for this position is USD $70,000 to $83,000 annually including on target earnings. The actual amount offered may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities.
