Position: Midlevel Corporate M&A Associate Location: Charlotte, NC Experience: 3-5 years Job Description We are representing a prestigious, global law firm that is seeking a midlevel associate to join their dynamic Corporate M&A team in Charlotte. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled attorney with 3-5 years of experience in corporate M&A, particularly in private equity transactions, to take on substantial responsibilities and work on complex transactions. Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate M&A agreements, including merger agreements, stock and asset purchase agreements, and letters of intent. Work on private equity transactions and related agreements, such as partnership agreements, joint ventures, and LLC operating agreements. Conduct due diligence and provide guidance on general corporate and business matters. Participate in the Representation and Warranty Insurance underwriting process. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in Corporate M&A, with private equity transaction experience preferred. Strong drafting, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple aspects of complex deals and work collaboratively with clients and team members. Excellent academic credentials and a proven track record in handling high-quality transactional work. Compensation Base Salary Range: $265,000 – $350,000/year (based on experience and qualifications). Discretionary bonuses may also apply.
