Quality Engineer

Job Description

Gpac just partnered with a rapidly growing Manufacturing company that is seeking a Quality Engineer

Pay is $80K - $120K depending on experience. This position is in your backyard.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of quality engineering, quality assurance, or quality systems experience in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Experience leading internal audits and supporting external audits
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills

Preferred:

• Government/Military contract review
• Government source inspection
• Engineering change reviews and evaluating quality impacts of design or process changes
• Direct experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
• Metrology and Calibration systems
• Experience with ERP systems, document control systems, and electronic quality management systems
• Experience in a small-to-medium-sized manufacturing organization where the individual owned multiple aspects of the quality function
