Role Description: This full-time, on-site Insurance Account Representative role is based in South Charleston, WV. The position involves supporting customers and prospects with insurance quotes, policy changes, and coverage explanations across products such as auto, home, life, and other personal lines. The primary focus of the role is new business acquisition. Responsibilities include managing accounts, following up on leads, conducting outbound and inbound calls, and assisting with policy renewals and billing questions. The role requires maintaining accurate customer records, identifying coverage gaps, and recommending appropriate solutions. The Insurance Account Representative will also participate in sales initiatives, support training efforts within the team, and contribute to a positive, customer-focused office environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Account Management skills, including organizing customer information, tracking policy details, and following up on renewals. Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, including handling inquiries, resolving issues, and providing courteous, timely support. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening. Candidates should possess Sales skills, including prospecting, presenting insurance options, and closing opportunities in a compliant manner. Candidates should possess Training-related skills, such as the ability to learn new products quickly and support knowledge sharing within the team. Relevant qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field is a plus. Insurance producer license (or willingness to obtain one within a specified timeframe) is required. Basic proficiency with office software, CRM tools, and the ability to adapt to new systems.
