Physical Therapist per diem

Position Overview Department/Unit: Physical MedicineWork Shift: Per Diem (United States of America)Salary Range: $77,075.00 – $119,466.00 Responsibilities Administers patient evaluation and treatments using physical therapy modalities, procedures, and interventions. Schedules patients and maintains written and verbal communication regarding patient and departmental concerns. Submits accurate billing information. Participates in rotations in all clinical areas. Participates in teaching, including annual in-service to peers. Participates as a clinical instructor for students. Supervises PTAs. Promotes and contributes to sanitary and housekeeping policies to maintain cleanliness and readiness of all clinic and general staff areas. Participates with the department quality improvement activities. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy – required. Master's Degree in Physical Therapy – required. Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy – required. Acute care or inpatient rehabilitation experience – preferred. PT – Physical Therapist upon hire – required. BCPR – Board Certification Physical Rehabilitation upon hire – required. BCLS – Basic Life Support upon hire – required. Physical Demands & Working Conditions Standing, walking, sitting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, eye/hand/foot coordination – constant or frequent, as required. Extreme cold, heat, humidity, wet, noise – rarely. Vibration, temperature change, atmospheric conditions – rarely. Hazards – frequent.
