General Production Worker

Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description As a production team member, you will be responsible for driving a tugger and transporting materials to ensure the production line is continuously supplied. Your role involves moving raw materials, work-in-progress items, and finished goods, as well as maintaining packaging and dunnage to support a smooth workflow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position requires safe operation of equipment, basic problem-solving skills, clear communication, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Drive a tugger to transport materials to the production line. Move raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Maintain packaging and dunnage to ensure smooth workflow. Operate equipment safely and efficiently. Communicate effectively with team members. Solve basic problems as they arise. Essential Skills Experience in production and manufacturing. Ability to operate computerized equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in high-volume manufacturing in the automotive industry is preferred. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bulls Gap, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
