Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech

Operating Room Certified Surgical TechMUST be certified. Weekend, call, and holidays required. 7a-3:30p shift. Must have travel experience. Must have ortho experience. Must have scrubbing experience. Must have Davinci experience. May be asked to precept new staff. Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program is required. Knowledge of cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of equipment and instrumentation utilized in the operating room setting is necessary. Qualified candidates will function under the direct supervision of an RN. Assist in nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient by performing routine and delegated duties according to the standards and policies of the department. Candidates will perform technical duties related to scrub personnel. Must have precise and efficient reactions to all situations. Assist with departmental work as assigned. Surgical techs play a vital role in creating and maintaining a sterile surgical room. Ensure that surgical equipment is functioning properly and safely. Assist surgeons during surgical procedures. Must arrive within 1/2 hour of being called in.
