Quality Technician - 2nd Shift

Quality TechnicianOur company specializes in manufacturing re-usable plastic packaging and is a leader in the thermoforming industry. We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team as a Quality Technician. Quality Technicians are responsible for supporting the Quality Manager and production team to ensure parts are made to customer specifications. Technicians will utilize the MES to record their testing.Reports to: Quality ManagerShift: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM Monday - Thursday Responsibilities:Assist Quality Assurance and Production staff by providing expertise to resolve quality issuesInspect and validate incoming parts from external companiesUse hand tools such as tape measure and micrometers to inspect and test internally produced components/parts to ensure quality and system requirements are metUnderstand quality tolerance and GD&TQualifications:Previous experience in a quality positionStrong computer skillsStrong organization skillsFamiliarity with plant tools and equipmentStrong troubleshooting and critical thinking skillsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to stand for 8+ hoursAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentBenefits:Starting pay: $19.00/hr plus .75 shift premiumHealth, dental, vision, life insurance after 60 days401k with 50% employer match up to 6% after 90 daysPaid time off, holiday pay, paid sick leaveCareer advancement opportunities
