• The Hardware Product Area (HWPA)/Consumer products risk management team's objective is to identify and minimize risk to ensure the business is running smoothly.
• Risk management is important to protect Google, our customers, and our employees.
• This is achieved by partnering with teams not only within HWPA (Operations, Gstore, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Global logistics operations, Supply chain, Design, Communications, Systems) but also with teams across Google such as Security and Privacy, Global Security, Resiliency Services as well as Contract Manufacturers (CMs).
• By partnering across Google, HWPA can integrate into the Enterprise risk management framework to scale our business.
• As a risk management program manager, you will partner with our business and cross-functional leaders to develop relationship and engagement strategy, lead the agreement/decision making process, and develop and maintain ongoing relationship with our executive leadership team and cross functional teams.
• The individual taking this role must be a self-starter with strategic vision and excellent business acumen.
• Job responsibilities Development of risk management strategies to support identified risk areas. Partner closely across all of HWPA with Operations, Gstore, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Global logistics operations, Supply chain, Design, Communications, Systems to develop overall risk management strategy and assess the risks on an ongoing basis
• Prioritize and implement necessary projects to reduce overall risk to the business Drive prioritization, alignment and implementation risk mitigation initiatives across Google. Find practical, scalable solutions to standardize and scale across HWPA. ie - identify a solution and ensure it applies across all product areas.

Minimum qualifications you must meet these minimum qualifications to apply for this job

• BA/BS in Finance, Business, Engineering related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in supply chain operations, management consulting, corporate strategy or operations. MBA or advanced degree in operations, accounting, finance or economics Excellent program management, problem solving, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
• Ability to navigate through ambiguity, manage and coordinate multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, accepting ownership and accountability of the process and deliver on commitments
