The Senior Specialist is responsible for monitoring workflow, training employees, identifying operational problems and assisting managers in all areas of the department. Identifies any service areas/functions within Patient Financial Services, Patient Access and Registration in need of improvement. Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency for ALL Patient Access functions including Registration, Scheduling, Precertification, and Quality Review. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team.
