Probationary Library Media Specialist

We are looking for a Probationary Library Media Specialist (.8 FTE) to join our District. We are looking for creative, certified and highly qualified candidates to guide school-aged children with the following qualities:

Valid New York State Teacher Certification in the following area:

Library Media Specialist

Foster a love of reading in grades PK-12
Support responsible digital citizenship
Maintain all library technology
Curate age-appropriate book collections for all ages
Enthusiastic and passionate about working with all students
Ability to work collaboratively with co-professionals
Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents
Supply a safe and nurturing environment where all students feel supported
