CDL-A Truck Driver Linehaul

Job Overview CDL – Truck Driver Linehaul – starting at $39.32 an hour. Drivers are home every day and have PTO after the first 90 calendar days. R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for Class A Linehaul Drivers at our San Jose, CA Service Center. As a Linehaul Driver you will pull trailer up to 53’ or double trailers between service centers and/or turn‑point locations, returning home daily. Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment at all times.
• Pass pre‑employment DOT Physical and drug screen.
• Complete successful road test.
• Bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable performance and maintain a good driving record.

Qualifications CDL Class A license. Minimum 1 year combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years. Good driving record (MVR and PSP) with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years. Age 23 (or 21 if FMCSA military‑to‑civilian transition requirements met). Ability to operate equipment safely at all times. Pass pre‑employment DOT Physical and drug screen. Pass road test. Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty. Dependable. Preferred Qualifications Experience with doubles/triples, tanker, and Haz‑mat CDL endorsements. Experience hauling Haz‑mat. Experience pulling doubles. Any LTL freight experience.
