If the role interests you and you would like to be considered we encourage you to apply!Key leadership and execution role for delivering outcomes that are aligned with the business goals, including support of manufacturing and facility electrical systems.Creates and executes the long range plan for prioritized controls upgrades for facility and manufacturing production equipment including capital projects requests and implementation.Responsible for executing the Controls & Automation workstreams of capital projects that will increase reliability, availability, reporting and monitoring of the plant facilities and equipment.Oversee installation and integration of power distribution systems including MCCs and Power Distribution Panels.Provide leadership and serve as a technical resource to associates training in the electrical discipline.Create solutions and provide guidance to maintain compliance of plant safety regulations such as (Arc Flash Electrical Safety- NFPA-70E; LOTO, Energized Work Permits, Safe Cell Entry). Perform work audits for self and other associatesAct as liaison and work closely with other departments such as IT for network maintenance and upgrades.Design and manage systems for maintaining programmable logic controller (PLC) backup files and other software related systems in the plant.Subject Matter Expert for programmable logic controller (PLC) and direct programming updates to Allen Bradley PLC ladder programs, connect Laptop Computer to PLC via network protocols.Provide leadership through efficient management of resources, synchronization of project management concepts and effective communication to all stake holders are central accountabilities to this role.Oversee installation and integration of power distribution systems including MCCs and Power Distribution Panels.Develop and implement a robust pipeline of automation technology to improve productivity KPI’s.The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $99,700.00 - $117,300.00 per year. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.In addition to the determined base salary, this role is also incentive eligible under our corporate bonus programs.For remote roles where the final candidate resides in Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Oregon or Washington, state required pay thresholds will be factored into base salary.* Our *Live Total Health* program provides you with options to align to your **personal needs**.
