Paraprofessional – Special Education (JHS) Fairfield ISD – Fairfield Junior High School, Fairfield, Texas Job Description Special Education Paraprofessional Junior High Campus Grades 6‑8 This position involves working collaboratively with the special education teacher and classroom teachers in providing instructional, psychological support and physical needs of students with and without disabilities in an inclusion and pull‑out setting. The paraprofessional will provide personal care as identified in the applicable student’s IEP and perform other SHARS duties as assigned. Students in this program require additional behavioral, physical, and/or academic support. The assistant must be proficient with basic core content academics as well as basic computer skills, including word processing and data entry.
