Job Duties Shuttle trailers between local yards, stay close to home, and enjoy a consistent schedule. Move trailers from dock to dock and from warehouse to warehouse, switching out empty trailers with full trailers. Hostler will perform pre- and post-trip inspections daily, chock rear wheels, and be aware of safety hazards. Hostler must have strong communication skills. Driving Requirements Valid CDL-A license DOT Medical Card Must be able to operate a yard goat to move trailers within the warehouse facility and move to other yards. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.
