• Work Location: Fairfield Inn & Suites Naperville Chicago. 1820 Abriter Ct, Naperville, IL 60563.
• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $20- $25 per hour
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, Night shifts, Holidays, and Weekends

Job Overview

Maintenance is essential to ensuring a smoothly running hotel and delivering a great guest experience. The lead maintenance ensures all equipment is operational, conducts repairs, and performs preventive maintenance tasks to maintain guest comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete minor repairs such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, and patching vinyl.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks as per the hotel's schedule.
• Ensure operational readiness of assigned equipment daily.
• Monitor and maintain efficiency of equipment and electrical systems.
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms as needed.
• Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by the manager/ supervisor.

Qualifications

• Proficient in basic plumbing, electrical skills, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to lift, carry, pull, or push items weighing up to 100-300 pounds.
• Physical agility: frequent standing, moving, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and crawling.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical systems, and preventive maintenance.
• Previous hotel experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with vendors.
• Organizational skills to manage maintenance tasks effectively.
