Job Title: Electrician Job Description

This role focuses on installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects. You will perform wiring, cable terminations, and troubleshooting to ensure all systems operate safely and efficiently, while collaborating closely with a team to deliver high-quality work on schedule.

• Install electrical systems in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes.
• Perform wiring for commercial and industrial applications, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical circuits and systems to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Accurately perform cable and wire terminations for panels, equipment, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to plan and execute electrical installations.
• Pull wire and bend, run, and install conduit as required for various projects.
• Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete projects on time and within scope.
• Use electrical tools and test equipment safely and effectively during installation and service work.
• Apply a strong understanding of electrical systems, service diagnostics, NEC requirements, and safe work practices.
• Assist with or perform service-related work, including diagnosing issues and providing solutions for customers.
• Support estimating efforts by providing input on labor, material, and job-cost information when needed.
• Help manage multiple service calls, deadlines, and customer needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate clearly with team members, technicians, and customers regarding work status, issues, and solutions.
• Demonstrate leadership and accountability in daily tasks and interactions with the team.

• At least 5 years of experience in electrical work, preferably in commercial and industrial settings.
• Expertise in electrical wiring, circuit testing, and system installation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving electrical issues.
• Proficiency in the use of electrical tools and test equipment.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints and construction drawings.
• Experience with conduit bending, running conduit, and pulling wire.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, service diagnostics, NEC requirements, and safe work practices.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.
• Ability to work well within a team in a collaborative, project-focused environment.
• Strong leadership, customer-service, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with computers, email, scheduling platforms, and service-management or project-management software.
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

• Previous supervisory, foreman, service-management, or project-management experience strongly preferred.
• Experience preparing estimates and managing labor, material, and job-cost information.
• Ability to prioritize multiple service calls, deadlines, technicians, and customer needs in a fast-paced environment.
• South Carolina electrical license is preferred.
• High level of attention to detail in all tasks and documentation.
• Comfort working in construction environments on commercial and industrial projects.

This position operates primarily in commercial and industrial construction and service environments, with standard hours Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Work is hands-on and field-based, involving the use of electrical tools, test equipment, conduit, wiring, and related materials. You will collaborate closely with a team in a structured, safety-conscious setting where clear communication and adherence to industry standards are expected.

This is a Permanent position based out of Ladson, SC.

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $83200.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
