Work Environment\nThis position is fully remote, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while delivering impactful counseling services. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct individual, family, and group counseling sessions aimed at identifying challenges and fostering solutions to improve clients' mental health. \n
- Utilize evidence-based treatment programs to assist clients dealing with issues such as mental health disorders, trauma, and dual diagnosis. \n
- Work collaboratively with clients to set treatment goals and provide ongoing support, while ensuring safety and confidentiality in all interactions. \n
- Engage in administrative tasks such as maintaining client records in our EHR system, ensuring compliance for insurance billing (including Medicaid and Medicare). \n
- Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives to stay current with best practices in mental health treatment and counseling methodologies. \n
- Adapt therapeutic approaches based on individual client needs and feedback, ensuring personalized care. \n
- Manage your schedule flexibly, which may include some evening and weekend sessions, to best meet client needs. \n
As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Terros Therapy Center, you will work with a diverse client population. Your clients may present with a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use issues. You will create a safe space for these individuals and families to explore their feelings and experiences, helping them to develop coping strategies and achieve their personal recovery goals. Your engaging and supportive approach will foster trust and encourage your clients' commitment to their own mental health journeys.
Qualifications\n- \n
- An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado is required. \n
- A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred. \n
- A minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling is required, demonstrating a solid understanding of therapeutic practices. \n
- Proficiency in using technology, as you will need a reliable laptop or desktop computer, a stable internet connection, and a web camera to facilitate telehealth sessions. \n
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, adapting to a flexible schedule that meets both client needs and personal commitments. \n
- Completion of a background check is mandatory prior to hiring. \n
