Packaging Operator

Packaging Machine and Warehouse Shipping OperatorA packaging machine and warehouse shipping operator will fill canisters and process orders on the packaging machine for custom vitamin packets as well as other types of packaged products. This position may be called upon for special projects within packaging, operations and warehouse shipping as needs arise.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork cohesively with Quality Control to uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)GMP orientation will be requiredFill canisters and restock other components as neededProcess orders for packagingPrepare final boxes and products for Quality Control reviewAssist with inventory counts and preparation monthly as neededFilling vitamin and supplement orders to be shipped.Retrieving mail from mailboxAll orders to be shipped are filled by 4:15pmShipping Supplies stocked, ready for use the next dayUPS boxes filled under table and on shelvesAll receiving completed and invoices turned inLoad and drive product requests from main store location.Rotation of stockMaintain an organized warehouseAssist in monthly inventory physical countMaintain shipping suppliesNote: These statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work involved for this job.
