Sheet Metal Mechanic ️

Join a team working on large-scale commercial construction projects! We're seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic to install HVAC ductwork, fans, and sheet metal systems while helping drive projects to successful completion.

What You'll Do

• Install square & spiral ductwork, rooftop units, and exhaust fans
• Read blueprints and coordinate HVAC installations
• Perform sheet metal fabrication, fitting, and assembly
• Ensure quality workmanship and job site safety
• Coordinate with crews and other trades to keep projects on schedule

What We're Looking For

✅ 5-10 years of sheet metal/HVAC installation experience

✅ Skilled in ductwork installation, fabrication, and field fitting

✅ Experience with rooftop fans, exhaust systems, and HVAC equipment

✅ Ability to read and interpret blueprints

✅ OSHA 30 & SST 10 certifications required

✅ Leadership experience on commercial construction sites

✅ Strong safety mindset and reliable attendance

This is a Contract position based out of Mineola, NY.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $43.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
