Physical Therapist Per Diem Jefferson Moss-Magee Jenkintown

Job Responsibilities Evaluate, treat and discharge plan patients referred for physical therapy services. Assist patients to achieve their highest level of function and coordinate care with other health professionals. Provide therapy evaluations, treatment planning, interventions and discharge planning for a full patient caseload in acute care, skilled facility, acute rehab and outpatient settings. Plan, organize and deliver treatment programs that help clients recover and rehabilitate. Utilize tools and techniques to administer safe therapeutic interventions and training for patients and families. Record and document patient health progress, including evaluations, daily treatments, progress notes and discharge summaries. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Earned a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program. 0–2 years of clinical practice experience (1 year preferred). Valid state license in Physical Therapy. BLS and CPR certification required, via AHA.
