Solar Sales Manager

Albany, NY (Field-Based with Office Presence) Pay: $130,000–$180,000+ (Base + Commission + Bonus) About the Role AEC Solar is hiring a Residential Solar Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing sales team in the Albany market. This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on coaching, performance management, recruiting, and driving revenue growth in residential solar sales. What You’ll Do Lead, coach, and manage a team of solar sales representatives Conduct regular one‑on‑one coaching sessions and ride‑alongs Monitor pipeline activity, sales metrics, and performance through CRM tools Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable to results Recruit, hire, and onboard new sales representatives Support team development, training, and ramp‑up Collaborate with marketing and operations to improve conversion and customer experience Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership What We’re Looking For Experience managing a B2C sales team (solar, home improvement, or similar preferred) Proven ability to coach and develop salespeople Strong understanding of pipeline management and sales metrics Experience with CRM systems and reporting tools Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to work in a field‑based leadership role Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation What We Offer Base salary plus team‑based commission and bonuses Full benefits: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) Paid time off, holidays, and sick time Vehicle allowance or company vehicle (based on performance) Career growth opportunities within a growing solar company Location 210 Washington Avenue Ext., Albany, NY 12203 Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans. #J-18808-Ljbffr
