Systems Engineer

OverviewVTG is looking for a Systems Engineer in Chantilly VA.What will you do?The Systems Engineer will support a customer organization and serve as a trusted agent across several SE disciplines, leading efforts to transform the enterprise from traditional systems engineering practices to digital engineering.The successful candidate will:Support office leadership with front office general SE support (requirements, schedule management, risk management, configuration management, readiness);Track and status action items, support program-based action item resolution, and provide updates on open actions to group leadership;Develop and coordinate customer organization’s weekly activity reporting;Solicit and consolidate inputs from multiple sources (Government, FFRDC, SETA, developer, etc.) and produce high-quality action item responses, reports, briefings and/or plans in accordance with the customer formats and guidelines for internal and external consumption upon government approval;Facilitate preparation and coordination of customer leadership’s briefings to governance boards/forums;Produce high-quality presentation materials, to include multimedia products and executive-level communications and correspondence with a high degree of comprehensiveness, accuracy, and timeliness of written information;Provide insights and advice to customer organization across a broad range of business, mission, and technical issues, taskings, and advisories. Also, the candidate may be requested to surge and flex in support of tasks and projects across the broader program scope according to their specific, personal expertise and capabilities.Do you have what it takes?Requirements:BS with 15+ years of demonstrated performance related to the tasks aboveActive TS/SCI clearance, with PolyNRO experienceAbility to excel as team enabler, with high regard for collaboration, open communication, transparency, and flexibilityAbility to relate professionally with senior Government customers and colleaguesStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate organizational positions on various topics
