Travel RN - Stepdown PCU

Location: Plano, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM, Weekend Every Other

Job Description: The Travel RN in the Stepdown PCU will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients recovering from serious illnesses or surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals
• Manage patient care plans and collaborate with healthcare teams
• Assist with patient mobility and rehabilitation
• Document patient progress and update medical records
• Respond to patients' needs and provide support to families

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2+ years of hospital experience
• 2+ years of Stepdown/PCU specialty experience
• Active RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Experience with Meditech is preferred
