Key Qualifications:

• Active RN or LPN/LVN license in Washington State
• Previous experience in pediatric care or school nursing preferred
• Proficiency with tracheostomy care, G-tube management, and ventilator support
• Confident in managing seizures and providing diabetic care
• Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, dynamic school settings and respond to emergencies

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students with complex medical needs at the elementary or middle school level
• Monitor and administer medications, treatments, and specialized interventions per individualized care plans
• Provide emergency response and manage acute health incidents (seizures, diabetic management, etc.)
• Educate students and staff on health protocols, safety, and wellness topics
• Maintain accurate health records and document all care provided
• Liaise with families, healthcare providers, and educators to ensure coordinated care
