Step into a dynamic school environment and make a lasting difference in children’s lives as an Occupational Therapist. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and continues through mid-January 2027. If you have a passion for supporting elementary students and thrive when working collaboratively within educational settings, this might be your next ideal position.
Bring your skills to a welcoming onsite learning community where you’ll work part-time (20 hours per week) and provide expert care to a diverse elementary caseload. You’ll have the chance to develop creative interventions and implement individualized therapy plans that help young learners succeed both academically and personally.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license (active and in good standing)
- Previous experience providing OT services within a school setting (required)
- Ability to work onsite and interact effectively with students, staff, and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dedication to enhancing the functional abilities of school-aged children
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Evaluate students, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Adapt therapy and supports to meet evolving student needs throughout the school year
This is your chance to make a meaningful contribution while maintaining work-life balance with a part-time schedule. If you're looking to apply your occupational therapy expertise in a rewarding school-based setting and hold the necessary credentials, submit your application today and help students achieve their greatest potential!
Compensation for this position ranges from $39.46 to $59.46. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
