Construction Superintendent

Goldbeam Construction is a Texas‑based commercial general contractor specializing in restaurant and retail tenant buildouts. The Role We're hiring a Construction Superintendent to own day‑to‑day field operations on our tenant buildout projects. You'll be the on‑site leader responsible for schedule, quality, safety, and subcontractor coordination from mobilization through punch list and turnover. You'll work directly with our project management team and report progress through our digital project management tools. Daily reports, photos, punch lists, and delivery tracking are all done from your phone or tablet, not paper. What You'll Do Run daily field operations on restaurant and retail buildout projects, typically 6–16 week schedules Coordinate and supervise subcontractors across all trades; MEP, framing, drywall, flooring, millwork, signage, and kitchen equipment installation Own the project schedule: build three‑week look‑aheads, sequence trades, and drive the job to on‑time turnover Enforce quality standards and conduct inspections at every milestone; manage the punch list to zero Maintain a safe, clean, OSHA‑compliant job site and lead toolbox talks Submit daily reports with photos, log deliveries, and flag issues same‑day through our project management platform Coordinate municipal inspections, utility connections, and health department walkthroughs Communicate proactively with project managers, landlords, franchisees, and vendors Manage site logistics: deliveries, staging, security, and tenant/landlord requirements in occupied shopping centers What We're Looking For Experience as a superintendent, assistant superintendent, or lead foreman on commercial construction projects — restaurant, retail, or tenant improvement experience strongly preferred Working knowledge of all major trades, with the ability to read plans and specs fluently Strong scheduling instincts — you know how to sequence trades and recover lost days Comfortable with technology: daily reporting, photo documentation, and punch lists are done digitally Familiarity with health department and municipal inspection processes for food‑service spaces is a plus OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain promptly) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; ability to travel to job sites across Texas Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Why Goldbeam Build for brands we own — steady project pipeline, no chasing the next bid Modern, paperless field operations — your time goes to building, not paperwork Growing company with real advancement paths into senior superintendent and project management roles Competitive compensation based on experience, plus vehicle/phone allowance and benefits How to Apply Apply via LinkedIn with your resume.
