Software Engineer Senior

Description: 

ENG- Support the integration of open architecture services into tactically representative hardware within the Electromagnetic Spectrum Warfare team. Perform software development, integration, testing, and verification activities to ensure end-to-end capability functionality on deployed hardware platforms. Contribute to complex technical assignments requiring investigation, analysis, and problem-solving in a fast-paced engineering environment.

#Education & Job Requirements

*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Development, STEM, or a related field from an accredited college or university
*4+ years of experience in software development using C++ and Python
*4+ years of experience working with Linux, Red Hat Linux preferred
*Develop software solutions within complex engineering environments
*Analyze and resolve technical issues requiring critical thinking and problem-solving
*Support integration activities involving tactically representative hardware platforms
*Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

#Preferred Skills

*Understand Open System Architectures, including Big Iron and AMS GRA
*Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and Podman
*Apply experience with Vagrant and Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL)
*Leverage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools, including GitLab CI/CD
*Build and maintain professional working relationships across functional teams
*Collaborate effectively with others while managing interpersonal dynamics and constructive conflict
