We are currently seeking a Certified Industrial Electrician! You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers.

Core Responsibilities

• System Installation: Install and program high-capacity electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, and complex circuits.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform preventive maintenance and repair to minimize downtime and quickly diagnose malfunctions in machinery or control systems.
• Automation & Controls: Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and SCADA systems.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and update complex electrical schematics and blueprints to ensure all work meets technical specifications.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA standards, specifically NFPA 70E for arc flash safety. 
• Any work required to keep production running

Required Qualifications & Certifications

• Education: A high school diploma or GED is the baseline; many also hold an Associate’s Degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology.
• Licensing: Journeyman Electrician License
• Industry Certifications:
• • OSHA 30-Hour: For general industry safety.
  • NFPA 70E Certification: For safe work practices on energized equipment.
  • Industrial Electronics (IND): Awarded by ETA International.
  • Certified Automation Professional (CAP): For experts in automation and control systems. 

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Settings: Factories, shipyards, oil refineries, and large-scale manufacturing facilities.
• Conditions: Often involves working in confined spaces, at heights, and in extreme temperatures or noisy environments.
• Physicality: Must be able to lift up to 50–75 lbs, distinguish wire colors, and maintain manual dexterity for intricate repairs.
