Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Texas
• School-based OT experience preferred, especially in K-12 settings
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
• Understanding of IEP development and documentation
• Passion for fostering independence and academic success in children

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive OT assessments to develop individualized student goals
• Design and implement evidence-based interventions within classroom and therapy settings
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional recommendations for accommodations and strategies
• Monitor, document, and communicate student progress toward therapeutic goals
• Provide consultative support and training to staff to ensure carryover of interventions throughout the academic day
• Manage a caseload of students with diverse needs, contributing to a positive, inclusive educational experience
