Salary: Starting at $80,000, with increases based on experience, plus bonus and benefits

Summary:
Our client is seeking a hands-on Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day accounting functions for a manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience working in a small manufacturing environment where they have owned the full bookkeeping process and take pride in keeping the accounting function organized, accurate, and running smoothly.

This role is primarily focused on day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations, with additional involvement in month-end close, reporting, benefits administration, and administrative projects.

What You'll Do

• Process vendor invoices and manage accounts payable
• Prepare and issue vendor payments
• Manage accounts receivable and collections
• Process weekly or bi-weekly payroll
• Complete bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end close and journal entries
• Maintain employee benefits and process enrollments and changes
• Maintain employee files and onboarding paperwork
• Respond to employee payroll and benefits questions
• Keep accounting records organized and accurate
• Assist with reporting and administrative projects as needed

What You Bring

• 5+ years of bookkeeping or hands-on accounting experience
• Experience working in a small manufacturing company preferred
• Comfortable working independently and owning the day-to-day accounting responsibilities
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Benefits administration experience is a plus
• Experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, ADP, Paychex, or similar
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
