Pharmacist in Marshall, MI

This opportunity is designed for a skilled pharmacist with inpatient hospital experience seeking a contract role with the possibility of direct hire. The position is located in Marshall, MI, and offers a dynamic work environment within an inpatient hospital setting.


Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to inpatients, ensuring optimal medication management and patient safety.
• Perform order entry using Cerner Med Manager accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize Pyxis automation systems effectively for medication dispensing and inventory control.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support clinical decisions and patient care plans.
• Work scheduled shifts primarily on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays, 7am to 7pm) with additional coverage on some weekdays from 7am to 10pm as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current Michigan pharmacist license is required.
• Demonstrated inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
• Proficient in Cerner Med Manager order entry system.
• Experienced with Pyxis automation technology.
• Ability to adapt to varied schedules including weekends and occasional weekdays.

Location:

• Position is based in Marshall, Michigan.
• Local candidates preferred; however, travel and housing accommodations may be considered.

Schedule:

• Weekends: Saturdays and Sundays, 7am to 7pm
• Some weekdays as needed, 7am to 10pm

This contract assignment spans 13 weeks with a potential pathway to direct hire. Signed agreements will be required to confirm commitment.
