Local Delivery Driver (CDL A) Location: Hammond, IN, United States | Req: 28763 Responsibilities Deliver products to customers with an average of 10–12 stops per day, handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service. Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up. Complete hazardous material shipping order papers in accordance with DOT regulations. Conduct and report pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections. Identify the need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance. Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business goals and customer needs. Continuously build knowledge of how Linde’s business operates to help the organization grow, and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED with proficiency in reading and writing in English. 2 years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, and a valid Class A or B CDL. Age 21 years or older. Current hazmat endorsement on your CDL or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire. No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years. No alcohol‑related convictions within the last 10 years. Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate. Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
