Pump Operator

Role & responsibilities Following is the JD for pump operator - 2 nos in Burkina Faso Main Duties and Responsibilities Operate concrete pump machinery, including boom pumps, line pumps, and trailer pumps. Set up the pump equipment safely before concrete pouring begins. Connect and check hoses, pipes, clamps, and other pump parts. Control the flow of concrete to the required location on site. Communicate clearly with site supervisors, concrete truck drivers, and workers placing concrete. Inspect equipment before and after use to make sure it is safe and working properly. Clean the pump, pipes, and hoses after each job to prevent blockages. Carry out basic maintenance and report mechanical faults. Follow health and safety rules at all times. Make sure the work area is safe and that the pump is stable before operation. Keep records of work completed, equipment condition, and any issues. Preferred candidate profile Skills and Requirements Experience operating concrete pumps or similar construction equipment. Good understanding of construction site safety. Ability to control machinery carefully and accurately. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to identify equipment problems quickly. Physically fit and able to work outdoors in different weather conditions. Valid operator license or certification, if required. Knowledge of concrete handling and pumping procedures.
