Pre-Owned Sales Manager

Wag'n Tails is looking for a driven, commercially minded Used Sales Manager to own and grow our pre-owned vehicle business. There is already an active secondary market for used Wag'n Tails and mobile grooming vehicles. Our opportunity is to become much more intentional about how we participate in that market - capturing more transactions, creating a better buying experience, and building a scalable pre-owned business. Your primary focus will be selling used Wag'n Tails vehicles, with the goal of moving refurbished inventory within 60 days. You'll also own the commercial side of our trade-in process, including vehicle valuation, refurbishment-level decisions, and targeted resale pricing. This is an opportunity for someone with strong sales instincts and an entrepreneurial mindset to take ownership of an increasingly important part of our business and help shape how it grows. What You'll Do: Own pre-owned vehicle sales, from generating demand and building pipeline through closing the sale, with a goal of selling refurbished inventory within 60 days Develop new ways to engage the active secondary market, reach prospective buyers, and capture more used vehicle transactions Make the buying process faster and easier by identifying and removing friction throughout the customer journey Own used inventory pricing and sales strategy, balancing inventory velocity with strong business economics Build and maintain the dealership relationships that enable our trade-in program Establish trade-in offers by coordinating chassis values, applying Wag'n Tails' conversion valuation methodology, and determining the appropriate refurbishment level and targeted resale price Use market activity, customer demand, sales performance, and inventory trends to continuously improve the pre-owned business What We're Looking For: 3+ years of successful sales experience in used automotive, commercial vehicles, RVs, fleet, equipment, powersports, or another asset-based environment Proven ability to generate demand, build pipeline, and sell used inventory Experience with used-asset valuation, trade-ins, remarketing, pricing, or inventory management Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with customers, dealers, and other external partners Commercial and financial acumen, including an understanding of pricing, margins, inventory aging, and used-asset economics Highly organized and action-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple transactions and keep deals moving; CRM experience preferred The Ideal Candidate: Thinks like an owner and is energized by the opportunity to build and grow a business Has a strong sales mentality and sense of urgency - inventory sitting still is a problem to solve Is curious about the market and constantly looking for where buyers are, how transactions are happening, and how Wag'n Tails can capture more of them Builds trust and long-term relationships while negotiating confidently and making sound commercial decisions Combines analytical thinking with a bias toward action Continually looks for ways to make buying a used Wag'n Tails faster, simpler, and better Perks and Benefits: Competitive base salary with performance-based bonuses Comprehensive benefits package including FREE medical coverage for employee (employee paid family plans also available), 401(k) with a company match, and generous PTO Employee perks and discounts through provider programs Opportunity for advancement as the sales department and the company continues to grow Hands-on training from industry experts with backgrounds in automotive, RV, and consumer products Join a company with 30+ years of leadership in mobile pet service conversions We're not just a vehicle manufacturer - we help people launch their dreams.
