Senior Manager, Full Stack Engineering

Salary: $136,885.1 - 210,000 per year Requirements:

• We need a strong background in full stack development, including frontend, backend APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• We need expertise in technical architecture and solution design for web applications and SaaS offerings.
• We need hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, S3, and IAM, along with serverless design patterns.
• We need proficiency in modern web technologies, including React.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, and Node.js.
• We need experience with database modeling and performance tuning, ideally with MongoDB or other NoSQL platforms.
• We need a solid grasp of software engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.
• We need a proven track record of building, coaching, and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
• We need the ability to turn business goals into technical plans and delivery milestones.
• We need the judgment to balance engineering quality with business priorities and deadlines.
• We need experience with effort estimation, prioritization, and escalation within structured engineering workflows.
• We need excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
• We need strong stakeholder management and cross-functional partnership skills.
• We need experience leading teams directly or through subordinate supervisors, with accountability for results, budgets, methods, and staffing.
• We need 8+ years of software engineering experience and at least 3+ years managing engineering teams.
• Preferred: experience in financial services, banking, insurance, or a comparable industry.
• Preferred: experience managing teams of 10+ engineers.
• Preferred: experience with microservice and microfrontend development.
• Preferred: background in customer-facing product development and support.
• Preferred: experience optimizing performance and scaling production systems.

• We lead and support a full stack engineering team, setting standards for software development and deployment.
• We own end-to-end technical product and solution design, aligning architecture with business objectives.
• We partner with product managers, UX designers, and business stakeholders to define technical goals and outcomes.
• We coordinate cross-functional delivery, including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
• We guide the team in delivering scalable, high-performance web applications and APIs.
• We build and maintain strong relationships across engineering, business, and sales.
• We establish and uphold technical architecture standards focused on scalability, security, and performance.
